First Of all get a proxy address from here.You can find a good list of Proxies in different categories according to Anonymity level.The proxy IP Address will be looking similar to below figure.Here : is used to seperate IP Address and Port No.
ok lets now see the Configuration Procedures,
Configure a Web Proxy in Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox.
- Open the Tools–>Options.
- Click the Network –> Connection Settings button.
- Check Manual Proxy Configuration.
- In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
- Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
- Click the OK.
Configure a Web Proxy in Internet Explorer:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Open the Tools–>Internet Options.
- Click on the Connections tab.
- Click on the LAN Settings button.
- Check the box next to “Use a proxy server for your LAN”.
- In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
- Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
- Click the OK.
Configure a Web Proxy in Netscape Navigator:
- Select Tools -> Options.
- Select “General”.
- In the Connections area click the “Connection Settings” button.
- Select the Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
- In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
- Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
- Click OK.
Configure a Web Proxy in Opera:
- Select Tools–> Preferences.
- Open the Advanced tab and select Network sub-category.
- Click the “Proxy servers” button.
- In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
- Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
- Click OK.
