Whenever we need any information Google and Wikipedia only strikes our mind.Wikipedia provides lots of interesting facts & articles.Recently wikipedia announced its intrest of opening office in India :)
“We will be launching the Wiki Foundation’s India Chapter in Bangalore shortly and an India office of Wikipedia by early 2011,” Wikimedia Foundation Chief Global Development Officer Barry Newstead told PTI.

Why India Is So Special to Wiki?

“India is important to us, as it’s the fourth-largest country in terms of Internet users with about 80 million users and is projected to touch 150 million in the next five years. Also, there is a very vibrant Wiki network here.”

How to Read Wikipedia Articles in Simple English?

I wish to know more about Indian Army and its strength in simple english.Our Indian Army has got a brand name :)
Wikipedia article on Indian army http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Army
To get the same article in simple English just replace “en” with “simple”.
These features by wikipedia is really useful to beginners and people with poor English knowledge :)
