Comice is the french word for Pear. I don’t believe that this is a new distro, just Pear renamed into Comice. Pear OS is a Mac OS X looking Ubuntu-based operating system introduced last year. Currently Comice OS 4 is distributed only as a 64-bit ISO image burnable on a DVD media or USB flash drive. Comice OS is a beautiful, useful & simple Linux distribution.  Comice OS 4 comes with Gnome 3 Interface. Comice GNOME Shell is modified to look exactly like a Mac OS X desktop.

How to Change Dock Position?

First lets see how to change the dock position. Click on the Apple Icon, goto Dock and select the position where you wish to appear. Check the below screenshot,

• Position on Left
• Position on Bottom
• Position on Right

How to Hide Dock in Mac OS X?

This shortcut command will allow you to quickly hide or show the Mac OS X dock. By hiding dock you can get more workspace especially when working with Adobe Photoshop.

Command key ⌘+Option+d

Pressing it once will hide it, pressing it for a second time will show the dock again.

Each one of us love some OS or the other. There are so many Operating systems out there like Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Unix, Free BSD, Solaris,..etc. Each operating system is the best at what it is intended to do. Windows is the king of commercial software and if you need to run commercial software (ie Games, MS Office, Tax programs, etc) then you should run Windows. Steps to Make Ubuntu Terminal Transparent

1. Open Terminal.
2. Right click on the terminal. Select Profiles.
3. Click on “Profile Preferences”.

4. Now navigate to Background and select Transparent background option. Now set the terminal windows opacity by adjusting the share transparent bar as shown in below screenshot,

5. Finally your Linux terminal becomes cool and transparent. See below image,

1. Open Terminal
2. Click Terminal, select ” Set Title” in Menu bar.
3. Type a Terminal title name.
4. Click ok.
