You can spice up your Mac OS X menu bar with your username or your account name. It’s really important when you are taking screen shots to send to your friend or sharing in social media, it shows your identity and you are the real owner of your screenshots. More over the name in the menu bar shows which user you logged into. With this you can switch to Login window easily.
How To Add Your Name On Mac OS X Menu Bar
1. Click the Apple logo, Go to System Preferences.
2. In System Preferences, Navigate to Users & Groups under System Category.
3. Now click the Lock icon at the bottom to unlock so you can change the settings.
4. Click Login Options and select “Show fast user switching menu as Full Name”
Now your name should now appear instantly on the menubar, right hand corner. 🙂
